About Bias Road

Why we built this

For fans outside Korea, reaching a bias's local spots has always meant piecing together directions from blogs and maps in an unfamiliar language. One mural or filming location could take an evening of cross-checking. Bias Road turns a single pick into a one-day route through the artist's home city, linking fan spots with nearby sights, food, and cafes. We built it so fans can find the way in their own language, using only public official data.

How it works

  1. Pick your bias, an artist or a drama.
  2. We build a one-day route anchored on the fan spots.
  3. Follow the map and timetable in your own language.

A different bias, a different first screen

Which Korean content fans love most differs by country. In KOFICE's 2025 Overseas Hallyu Survey (28 countries, 26,400 people), K-pop was the top image of Korea for the eighth year running (17.8%), yet the weight of drama (8.7%) and film (5.6%) varied from region to region.

What works today
Each language fills the home with its own country's data, and the screen order differs per language too: Japanese leads with drama, English leads with K-pop, Chinese leads with drama and film, with each country's favorites pinned up front. Tourism info comes from the Korea Tourism Organization's English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean tourism services, pulled per language.
What's next
Today's order is an estimate from public surveys. As choices and generated courses build up per language, we'll replace it with real data and refine the per-country fit.
