The old Gokseong Station, where Jeolla Line trains ran until 1999, revived as a tourist site; the motorcycle ride in Na Hong-jin's 2016 'The Wailing' was filmed on these grounds. A three-carriage steam train now runs a return trip along the Seomjin River. Every spring a rose festival takes over the same site, giving it a face nothing like the film's chill.
