Dangni Village on Cheongsando Island in Wando, where director Im Kwon-taek shot his 1993 film 'Seopyeonje.' The long-take scene in which the characters sing 'Jindo Arirang' while walking down the stone-wall path and yellow-earth road was filmed here.

The Dangni village hill where Im Kwon-taek's 1993 'Seopyeonje' shot the long take of Yu-bong, Song-hwa and Dong-ho coming down the stone-walled path singing 'Jindo Arirang'. That scene, from the first Korean film to pass a million admissions, runs here as a single unbroken shot. Today the path plays 'Jindo Arirang' aloud, so you walk it hearing what the film heard.
