Queen of Tears
- Filming location
Mungyeong played Yongduri, Baek Hyun-woo's hometown in the 2024 tvN and Netflix drama 'Queen of Tears.' The Yongduri supermarket set was built in Yongyeon-ri, and the Eco World amusement park and Gurangni Station rail-bike date scenes were also filmed here.
Fan spots
Yongduri Village (Yongduri Supermarket set)
경상북도 문경시 문경읍 용연리
Yongyeon-ri in Mungyeong-eup, which plays Baek Hyun-woo's hometown Yongdu-ri in 2024's 'Queen of Tears'. The Yongduri Supermarket set was built at the village entrance for the shoot, and afterwards moved to Mungyeong Eco World, where it now stands as a photo zone. In the village itself what you see is not a building but the lanes and fields Hyun-woo walks through.
Mungyeong Eco World
경상북도 문경시 가은읍 왕능길 114
Where 'Queen of Tears' filmed the amusement-park scene with Hong Soo-cheol and Cheon Da-hye — and where the Yongduri Supermarket set has since been relocated as a photo zone. On the same grounds, the Gaeun open set hosted 'Kingdom' and 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty', and there is a coal museum and a mine-shaft experience hall too. This is a full-day stop rather than a single-drama one.
Mungyeong Rail Bike
경상북도 문경시 마성면 진남1길 155
Where Hae-in and Hyun-woo go on a date before her surgery. It is Korea's first rail bike, built on a disused coal line, and it runs along Jinnamgyoban, the scenery ranked first among Mungyeong's eight views. Guryangni Station, shaped like a fortress gate, and the landscape around it stand exactly as they appear in the drama.
