The opening and closing shot of Lee Chang-dong's 'Peppermint Candy' — Yeong-ho spreading his arms at an oncoming train and shouting that he wants to go back — was filmed on this railway bridge. It lies on the stretch between Gongjeon and Samtan stations, and the stream underneath is the picnic spot from the same film. Trains still run on this line, so do not go up onto the bridge.
