Andong Hahoe Village
경상북도 안동시 풍천면 전서로 186-8
This is the village Shownu and Kihyun walked through in 'MONSTA X's Heritage Chronicle' while learning the Hahoe Byeolsingut mask dance. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list alongside Yangdong Village in Gyeongju, it takes its name — Hahoe, 'river turns back' — from the Nakdong River looping around it. Tiled roofs and thatched ones stand together, and residents still live here, so keep to the open lanes rather than the yards. The mask dance runs only on set days, so check the schedule first.
