The trot singer Jinsung, long stuck in obscurity, scored a slow-burn hit in 2012 with 'At Andong Station,' and the song became an anthem of the city of Andong. In 2014 a song monument was erected in the plaza of Andong Station, and Jinsung was named the station's honorary stationmaster.
