Mokpo's oldest modern building, put up in 1900 as a Japanese consulate, and the daytime hotel exterior in tvN's 2019 'Hotel del Luna'. What reads as a hotel on screen is in fact a colonial-era building that served first as a consulate and later as the Oriental Development Company. A statue of a girl symbolising the victims of wartime sexual slavery stands in front of it.
